PRE-PAID VOUCHERS
For those who pre-purchased tokens at the time of their ticket purchase, including those that purchased GA+ tickets (which came with a token voucher), the token voucher must be converted to digital tokens on VCBW’s digital token system.
While admission tickets for VCBW are transferable through Ticketleader, the token vouchers are not transferable through Ticketleader. So if you bought one for someone else, you can pass them on the barcode number from the voucher that is designated for them. This is because the barcode number on each token voucher from Ticketleader that you have is your redemption code to redeem your digital tokens on the VCBW wallet system. When Ticketleader vouchers are transferred from one person to another through Ticketleader, the voucher’s barcode changesand due to the latter, that would create a mess!
So, to redeem your digital tokens, you would first go into your Ticketleader account and open up your token voucher. Each voucher is for 15 tokens. You will see a barcode on your voucher, like this:
From there, visit the voucher page (https://pay.eventpay.com/auth/login/17) and put in your phone number. Click the boxes and then continue.
Once you receive the code via text, enter that code into the following screen and click verify.
You will now be into festival page! Before you start exploring the exhibitors, click ‘PAY at the bottom.
Once in PAY, click ‘REDEEM TOKENS’
Enter the barcode from your pre-paid token voucher from Ticketleader.ca. Not from your admission tickets - but from your token voucher. Then click ‘REDEEM TOKENS’.
You will now have your token voucher tokens in your wallet for the event - you’ll see them in your ‘PAY’ page. If you have more than one token voucher, return to the PAY page-> Redeem TOKENS and do it again.
